DT Challenge #145 - WINNER

I was so excited to be able to share with you all my challenge, which is inspired by another passion many share – Cooking. Needless to say I am not the chef in this house, although my husband. With this passion of his we also share watching cooking shows, which brings me to my inspiration – Alton Brown. Alton Brown has a notorious way of using alternate products to cook. His has a major dislike of single purpose tools, which brings us to our challenge.
I challenge all to make a single or double page layout or even a card, sorry no digital LO’s will work, using items that are normally used to prepare food.

We had five lovely women enter this challenge.

Let's Scrap Weekly Sketch

OK Everyone...here is this week's sketch

And here is my interpretation...All the papers are from my Cocoa Daisy's monthly kit.

This page is about when Brooke moved to U of A this Summer and drove her car named "JIXI".  So JIXI's new home is the parking garage at her new apartment complex called District on 5th.  

JIXI also travels that 1.5 miles to the campus where she is lucky to have a spot in a covered parking garage.

This has made JIXI very happy as she has always slept in the garage at home.

Can't wait to get projects done and enjoy the later sunsets. Looking forward to walks at night and starting a new quilt.

Away Skiing

Enjoying the week away with hubby, Cindy and B-rad. Skiing and company has been great. Tomorrow will be the last day on the mountain, looking forward to skiing better than earlier in the week.

Cropping is coming soon, but not until quick trip to Georgia first....can anyone say Hobby Lobby!!
